New Speakers Video This video was shown in a rented room during a big industry trade show in Nashville (Summer NAMM). The goal was to introduce the industry to Mackie's new product entries in the sound reinforcement speaker market. I was in charge of art direction for this video, so I helped coordinate the technical graphics, which were built in Flash, and I designed a concept for the video shoot background for the product shots. The background was made from the metal sheets which are used in the creation of Mackie's best known product, audio mixing boards. I assisted in setting up the video shoots and also interviewed some of the participants. I edited the first rough cut myself in Avid Media Composer and was joined by a freelance editor who assisted me in finishing the project.
